As a traveling bard/minstrel I’ve given updates before on the repair of my guitar Smokey Joe. But- Smokey Joe’s guitar case does a lot of damage control. My case is a 995 dollar gem made by Calton Cases out of Austin Texas. These babies are flight proof and able to withstand the roughshod treatment that many airlines baggage “handlers” bestow upon wayward guitars en route to gigs in far away regions on Earth. Simply put, they’re the best if you’re serious about protecting your axe. My friend Jon Green owns the company and yesterday I visited the factory and his wonderful team members gave my case a tune up and some love. It finally needed a short hospital stay. Now it’s ready to travel a gazillion more miles and be Smokey Joe’s secret service agent. Yay Calton Cases. If you ever want to order one for your guitar then go here– Huzzah!
