Woke up in Rolla Missouri

20110405-083951.jpgWe left The Cubs game after sitting in the most amazing 3rd row seats behind home plate. I must thank my friend Gary Hughes for the sweet sweet tickets. They're hard to come by at Wrigley Field where the fans show up rain or shine. The picture above is of super Cub fan Nelson who happened to be at the game. He and his lovely wife were also at my last 2 shows of the tour and we met up during the fifth inning behind home plate for a Chicago dog. I tried to film the seventh inning stretch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnaTHlazEXM&feature=youtube_gdata_player Keith Moreland sang it. Then at the end he threw his cap out to the crowd. You can kind of see it. I also ran into former Padres GM Kevin Towers at the game. He's now the GM of The Diamondbacks who were playing The Cubs. He was my next door neighbor until he moved to Arizona for his new job. Now I'm in a hotel in Rolla, Missouri and I'm fixing to start driving westward ho. Hoping to make it all the way to Albuquerque by tonight. Hoping is the operative word. Lots of miles to go mate. Time to drink my greens and hit the road. Peace out S
