I’ll never forget seeing the Rugburns open for Alvin lee at the strand in Redondo Beach …. theshow that seriously changed my life. Only the grateful dead has influenced me as much as them.
I lived in LA for 18 yrs and I have been writing a story called “On The Trail Of Smokin Joe” for yrs. Im still workin on the book. basically a story about a guy who seeks a truck driver who thru away all his musical talent to seek this driver and find out why and my life story is what goes on wile he seeks the Ilusive truck driver ….when i finally met him is the key to what we all live and strive for.
